LON based systems for building automation
LON based technology has in the past years become a highly used platform as system for building automation.
LON based technology is used for automation of central based installations like plant room systems for ventilation, heat and air conditioning etc., and for establishing intelligent building installations where each room is controlled with respect to lightning, heat and ventilation etc., and/or alarm and access control system integration.
Grue+Hornstrup has provided LON based building automation for many different companies’ headquarters etc., for example the Statoil headquarter in Copenhagen, upgrading lightning and individual room control at Hvidovre Hospital, Savings Bank Sjælland in Holbæk and Nupark in Holstebro.
